Benjamin Barker Vivocity
The Benjamin Barker store at Vivo City is inspired by the Italian apartment lobbies from the mid-century, with an exuberant composition of colours, materials, and a geometry of curves and lines put together with a modernist sensibility. A radial-lay mosaic floor in the main retail area anchors the space. Three mushroom columns rise from the floor with their caps merging into a cloud of white on the ceiling. A curved red counter is tucked to the side of the main retail area. Further in, through a deliberate threshold, the retail space becomes more intimate and soft, with dimmer lighting and soft carpeting on the floor. The range of products on display here is focused on suits and tailoring , in contrast to the offerings in the main retail area which are more casual.
